JUNIOR CERTIFICATE CORE SUBJECTS Gaeilge English Maths History Geography Science Business Studies CSPE (Civic, Social & Political Education) SPHE (Social Personal Health Education) Religious Education Physical Education Computer Studies Choir Students in their First Year take sll subjects. At the end of first year they select ten Examination Subjects which they will carry through to the Junior Certificate. This selection is made with the help of the Career Guidance teacher and teachers concerned. The Career Guidance Counsellor meets each first year girl individually early in the first term where any problems or difficulties she may be having can be dealt with. Choir and Orchestra are prepared for the Department of Education and Science Examinations.
