Music

Students are given the opportunity to develop their musical talents as part of their overall Education.


A number of pianos are available on which students practice during lunch-time. Priority is given to students who do not have the facility at home. The School Orchestra is prepared for the Department of Education Examinations. Memberships of the Orchestra is open to all students.
The school has a variety of musical instruments for the use of our students - Double Bass, Cellos, Violins, Viola, Concert Flutes and Clarinets.
Students attend Recitals in the School organized by the Music Association of Ireland where they have the opportunity to see professional musicians perform.
